Cindy has lived in Okeechobee for the past 26 years and enjoys living in the small town atmosphere.  She has been married for 26 years to Mark Brandel of Brandel Construction.  They have two children: Adam (25) and Morgan (19).  Over the past 17 years, Cindy has been a teacher at Peace Lutheran School, teaching Pre K3, VPK and Kindergarten.  She is also an active member of Peace Lutheran Church.  Cindy moved to Florida in 1983 from Ohio.  She has been an active member of the community through her involvement with the Jaycess and JCI Senate; including President of the Okeechobee Jaycees and the Florida Jaycees.  She enjoys being outdoors, camping, sports and crafting.
